Flu Vaccination and Covid Boosters

We have now received our first delivery of the over 65y 𝐟𝐥𝐮 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and we are starting to invite patients to clinics with our nurses.

We will also be helping to deliver the 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 doses of Pfizer vaccine in co-ordination with the rest of Rossendale Primary Care Network. Boosters will be offered in the same order as during Phase 1. Invitations are being sent nationally and our team will also contact those who are eligible when vaccine becomes available to us.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 will be targetted initially, along with 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝟖𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭-𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬. Saturday clinics are being set up to deliver this service.

Those patients who have been invited to attend for a covid booster, can have their flu vaccine delivered at the same time as the covid vaccine in surgery.
