Local Covid Vaccination Planning

*Covid19 Vaccination Update*

We are currently making provisional plans with GPs and Management colleagues in the local area for how we can deliver a COVID vaccine. We already work collaboratively as part of the Primary Care Network.

The vaccine will likely be delivered centrally in Rossendale from one location, most likely within Rawtenstall. Details are still being finalised by NHS England but as they become clearer, we will be able to provide this information.

No appointments are currently being made and the government will likely target those most vulnerable or who work within a healthcare setting initially.

Pressure within the Health system continues to be elevated and is likely to remain so as winter approaches. Bear with us at this stressful time and please refrain from ringing the Practice for vaccine updates. We will post information on all our social media platforms as soon as our plans are finalised and as information becomes available.
