Routine appointments

To request a routine appointment:

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Some appointments require longer than the routine 10 minutes e.g. diabetic reviews. If you are unsure, please do not use the online appointment facility, please telephone and speak to one of our reception team who will be happy to arrange an appointment for the appropriate length of time and with the appropriate practitioner.

Simple medical questions can be answered over the phone by one of our doctors. In this case our receptionists can arrange a telephone consultation for you. If calling in the morning this can be usually arranged on the same day. If calling on an afternoon then the telephone consultation can be set up for the next working day.
Nurse appointments may be booked routinely for a variety of conditions and health promotion including: Asthma, COPD, Hypertension, Cardiovascular disease, Diabetes, Family Planning, Women’s Health, Weight Management, Travel and Childhood Vaccinations, “Over 40” Health Checks.

Please also see our clinics for additional information.
Appointments may be booked in advance, and are available on the day if the problem needs urgent attention. It is possible to request telephone advice from a nurse or GP, please advise reception if you would like to be contacted about a concern.

We try hard to meet the needs of patients requiring both urgent and ongoing care. We would advise booking in advance to see a doctor of your choice.

Please do not use our on-line appointment service if you require a diabetic review with a G.P. as this requires a longer appointment.
