Booking an appointment
Urgent appointments
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):

- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist
Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment:
- using the GP online system – Patient Access

- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Some appointments require longer than the routine 10 minutes e.g. diabetic reviews. If you are unsure, please do not use the online appointment facility, please telephone and speak to one of our reception team who will be happy to arrange an appointment for the appropriate length of time and with the appropriate practitioner.

Doctor Appointments
We try hard to meet the needs of patients requiring both urgent and ongoing care. We would advise booking in advance to see a doctor of your choice.
Please do not use our on-line appointment service if you require a diabetic review with a G.P. as this requires a longer appointment.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
If you cannot attend for your appointment, please let the surgery know with as much notice as possible so that it can be offered to someone else.

If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
We can offer visits to patients who are housebound. A visit is time consuming. Please contact the practice as soon as possible if you think you might need seeing at home. This helps us plan our patient care for the day. We appreciate patients making every effort to see us at here the surgery so we can provide the best service from our skilled team.
